6- Solar cell
ENIE engages in the solar energy. ENIE has just marketed photovoltaic solar panels. These panels will cover a wide range of crest power.

 1- The professionnal applications :
- Radio equipment for mountains
- Maritime buoying
- Hetrzian beams
The multiplication of these infrastrucutures in isolated sites and even in urban zones arises the question of their supply in power.

- Simplicity ( simplicity of installation and operation )
 2- The solar pumping :
The solar pumping represents the ideal solution for the supply of water whereever the electrical network is lacking.
- Agricultural or pastoral applications
- Supply of village water or domestic drinking water.

- Total working autonomy
- Near non-existent maintenance
- Minimal running costs
- Silent operating and without pollution
 3- The isolated habitations :
15% of the Algerian households are not supplied with electricity according to the ONS sources of 1998.

- Electrification ( main habitations, secondary habitations, farms, private companies, hydraulic pumpings for domestic use....)
Community advantages :
- Electification (refuges, schools, clinics, police stations, post offices ...).
